By Default, ZloViewer considers your content copywritten with All Rights Reserved by you (besides giving ZloViewer the right to use it to deliver our services as outlined in our Terms of Service and no specific copyright is shown. We also offer an easy way to apply a custom or Creative Commons license if you would like that applies the the ZloImage and media contained within.

When you choose a license, a small icon of the chosen license will appear at the bottom right of your ZloImage indicating the applicable license. When a user clicks on that link, a popup will display linking to the license and showing any additional information you provide.

If you choose the ZloViewer copyright icon (default for new ZloImages) but do not provide any additional information, no icon will be shown. You can specify your own custom terms by utilizing this feature.

• Your own original content: If you choose a Creative Commons license for your ZloImage and the media contained within, you should enter additional information as the key component of it is that someone can only reuse it by properly attributing the work to you. If you put nothing, then you will have to accept a link to the ZloImage as sufficient attribution.
• Content already licensed by CC: If using someone else's content that is available under a Creative Commons license, then you should use the additional information input to meet any requirements such as proper attribution.
• Content in the Public Domain: If you are using content known to be in the public domain, you should choose the public domain mark and are not required to do anything further. The onus is on you to that you are asserting it's in the public domain. It may be best practice to use the additional information input to link to where you found and determined it is public domain. (Better safe than sorry!)
• Release original content to the public domain: If you have created original content that you want to release to the public domain, you should investigate and use the CC0 license.

SPECIAL BENEFIT: When sharing a ZloImage with a Creative Commons license or as public domain, you you will receive a 20% discount on traffic charges when users view that media. (eg: a 100 KB download only uses 80 KB

SPECIAL CAVEAT: Choosing any of the Creative Commons licenses or public domain options automatically enables downloading of the media contained within the ZloImage. (There's always a gotcha!) There reason for this is because a) You're getting a discount and b) The licenses are pointless if users can't get the media. You can still restrict access to the media as normal.
